Database Administrator
Job Description - Responsible for database architecture and design, application administration, production database support, capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning. Manage Oracle 9i/10G Databases using Oracle enterprise manager, SQL Navigator and Quest Toad. Database cloning and replication of data from production environment to all lower environment using shell scripts and SQL commands. Design and integrate equity business application with Oracle applications and garner business domain knowledge of equity business with accounting and auditing of financial data.
Special Skills - MA/MS in Computer Science. Working knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g, Unix, Linux, Shell Scripting, Data Modeling, Toad 8.5, Tomcat 4.1
