"Our testing has shown an over 10 fold improvement in performance with the new ResourceMgr that Zerion Consulting has provided, and there is also a significant improvement in the number of MySql connections as well.
The latest version - Rev 1129 - is only using 26 connections with 10 threads, after running 20 QUERY and 20 AUTHORIZE requests. That is a significant decrease from the previous test results. At 100 threads and about 100 requests, it is using 206 connections. After running over 600 transactions of varying types through it, it had climbed to 257 connections, so we may still have a connection leak somewhere. That said however, this is a huge improvement over where we were when I managed to get over 200 connections with just 10 threads.
