The 3rd Party Widget creates a link within iForm to connect with other software installed on the device. This functionality exists on both iOS and Android but is configured differently for each operating system. Add the 3rd Party widget to any form and define what action the widget should take – such as connecting to FaceTime or accessing Google Drive. Learn more about the 3rd Party App.

The Smart Table Search is a feature that allows you to perform a local search on any data table. Two separate forms are created when using this function. One form stores information which is used within another form, this will be your database. The other form is what the end-user will be using to “lookup” data and will call to the database that stores the information. For example, a user needs to confirm that the inventory items are located in the correct building and room number. Using the Smart Table Search, the user can scan a barcode located on each item. Fields such as Product Brand, Model Number, Date Added to Inventory, Building Name, Room Number, and Additional Notes will auto-fill into the form based off the barcode. Learn more about using the Smart Table Search.
[dropcap4 variation=”steelblue”]4[/dropcap4]Built-In Functions
iFormBuilder provides a number of built-in functions; the ideal way to remove the need to enter repetitive information and maintain data integrity. Subform Aggregation sum or average of subform records are all iFormBuilder Built-In Functions. This can be useful for a purchase order scenario where you need to keep a running total of all items that are being purchased. Learn more about the Built-In Functions.
