[teaser]The iFormBuilder White Label Program offers Enterprise customers the ability to have a private, customized iForm app.[/teaser] Often times, the conversation is strictly focused around having the company or organization brand the app as their own. While branding is a component of the White Label, it makes up about 5% of the capabilities and should only make up 5% of your purchasing decision when considering a White Label.
First, to be considered a candidate for the White Label, customers must first meet a few requirements:
- An iFormBuilder Dedicated Database must be purchased.
- If using iOS. the company or organization must obtain an iOS Enterprise Developer account.
While custom branding is at the core of the White Label, the real value comes from freedom of distribution and version control. If you find yourself answering yes to the following questions, the White Label makes sense for your organization.
Do you wish for your app to be distributed internally without users accessing the App Store or Google Play?
A White Label allows companies the ability to deliver their app through an intranet, webpage, link, text message or the iForm admin control panel. Organizations that restrict users from accessing app stores are able to easily distribute the app to its users.
Do you wish to preview and test new code before accepting new updates to iFormBuilder?
Version control is extremely important to most enterprise deployments who are using iFormBuilder for mission critical data collection. The White Label allows companies to take updates when the team is ready and has previewed the iFormBuilder updates in a test environment. iFormBuilder performs 12 to 18 releases a year to improve functionality, upgrade to new versions of iOS or Android and to provide security enhancements. These changes may or may not impact your deployment or integration points, however with the White Label, companies can verify and test code before taking new updates.
Will you potentially create or require custom development or customer hardware integration with iFormBuilder?
If you are using a special piece of equipment or hardware and need iFormBuilder to integrate with it, our professional services teams are able to build the functionality and deliver it directly in your custom app. Sometimes the feature is made available to the entire iFormBuilder community while other times the feature makes sense only for a select customer. We love these projects; however, the White Label is required before custom integrations can occur.
Do you wish to have settings and preferences inside of iForm preconfigured?
iFormBuilder has preferences that can be configured on a per-device basis depending on the nature of the project. To pre-set or configure the preferences to your liking for your users, the White Label is required. The preferences include setting the server name, auto sync, sync on start, photo size, and store photo to camera roll.
Is it important for you to be able to brand the iForm version of your app with your own company logo and colors?
The White Label gives you full control over custom branding of the iForm App! This helps carry the same look and feel as your organization’s branding including the icon on the device. Here is a link to everything that can be configured under the White Label branding options.
